1. Definitions

Company / Taxi Lyx 96Taxi Lyx 96 operates the mobile application and platform connecting Passengers with Drivers and Vehicle Owners.
PlatformThe Taxi Lyx 96 app and/or website used for booking and managing rides.
PassengerAn individual who books a ride using the Platform.
DriverA person authorized to provide transport services via the Platform.
Vehicle OwnerA person or entity owning the vehicle used for rides.
Ride / TripA transport service booked and completed through the Platform.
FareThe total price charged to the Passenger for a ride.
CommissionThe percentage or fixed fee retained by Taxi Lyx 96 from each completed trip.

2. Nature of Service

  • Taxi Lyx 96 acts as a technology platform and intermediary between Passengers and Drivers / Vehicle Owners.
  • Taxi Lyx 96 does not operate as a transport company and does not provide transport directly.
  • Drivers and Vehicle Owners are independent contractors, not employees of the Company.
  • The Company provides technology, payment facilitation and support for these services.

3. Registration and Accounts

3.1 Passengers

  • Must register with accurate personal and payment details.
  • Agree to these Terms at registration or when booking a ride.
  • Responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.

3.2 Drivers and Vehicle Owners

  • Must submit required documents (driver’s license, vehicle registration, insurance) and pass verification.
  • Taxi Lyx 96 may approve or reject applications without explanation.
  • Must keep information and vehicles updated and in legal condition.

4. Booking, Pricing and Payments

4.1 Booking

  • Passengers book rides by entering pickup and destination information in the app.
  • A ride is confirmed once a Driver accepts the request.

4.2 Pricing

  • Fares may be fixed (pre-estimated) or dynamic based on distance, time and traffic.
  • Dynamic pricing may apply during high demand and is clearly displayed before confirmation.
  • Waiting time and tolls may apply.

4.3 Payments

  • Passengers may pay in the car by card or cash, or in advance through the app.
  • All card transactions are securely processed through authorized payment providers.
  • After trip completion, Taxi Lyx 96 deducts its Commission and transfers the remaining balance to the Driver or Vehicle Owner.
  • If a payment fails or dispute arises, the Company may withhold payouts until resolved.
  • Commission rates are published and may change with 30 days’ notice.

5. Commission and Payouts

Taxi Lyx 96 charges a Commission (typically 20%) per completed trip to cover app, support, and payment handling. The net fare (after Commission) is paid to the Driver or Owner.

6. Responsibilities and Liability

  • Passengers must behave respectfully and pay all fares.
  • Drivers must obey traffic laws, keep vehicles insured and clean, and not permit unauthorized use.
  • Taxi Lyx 96 is not liable for accidents or property loss during rides; such issues are covered by the Driver’s insurance.
  • Liability is limited to the Commission retained for the ride.

7. Insurance and Compliance

Drivers and Owners must maintain valid vehicle and third-party insurance as required by Swedish law. Passengers are covered only by the driver’s insurance during the ride.

8. Cancellations and No-Shows

Passengers may cancel within a short grace period (e.g. 2 minutes) without fee; later cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee shown in the app. Drivers must not cancel without valid reason.

9. Baggage / Luggage

Drivers assist with loading and unloading when safe. Passengers must check that all items are removed after the ride. Taxi Lyx 96 and Drivers are not liable for lost or damaged items unless due to gross negligence. Lost property is handed to police after a reasonable period.

10. Force Majeure

Taxi Lyx 96 is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g. strikes, technical failures or severe weather).

11. Termination and Suspension

Taxi Lyx 96 may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud or breach of terms. Drivers and Owners may end cooperation with reasonable notice.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

Swedish law applies. Disputes shall first be handled amicably and, if unresolved, brought before the District Court of Lund, Sweden.
